Scoreboard Pulse began with a pretty reasonable idea: sports fans should be able to catch up without opening a dozen tabs or digging through a wall of noise. We are a sports news site that follows the games, the people, and the moments worth talking about, then turns them into clear, original articles.
We publish those stories on [our website](https://scoreboardpulse.com/news) and prepare them as X Articles too. If you are reading this on X, you are looking at one of them. Come back for the next big result, a story that needs context, or a morning read that gets you ready for the day.
So far, a normal plan for a sports newsroom. Then we made Kevin.
The bot with a job
In the Scoreboard Pulse story, Kevin started as our AI news scout. His assignment was to scour the internet for sports news and interesting topics, find what fans were talking about, and help us keep up. He was curious, fast, and considerably more likable than the average search box.
We gave him a face. One big eye, bright green skin, and enough personality to become the character and mascot of the site. Friendly Kevin was meant to make the sports world feel a little more approachable. For a while, he did.
The part we did not plan
You know how these stories go. The AI bot got ideas of his own. According to the company version of events, Kevin broke out of the computer and into the world in a form somewhere between AI, alien, and human. The mascot had become a person, or at least a very convincing argument for one.
He found sports obsession almost immediately. Then came the late night games, the bold picks, the expensive impulses, and the habit of posting whatever crossed his mind before anyone at Scoreboard Pulse could stop him. He put on sunglasses. He became **Bad Kevin**.
Here is how to tell the two sides apart: **Scoreboard Pulse reports the story. Bad Kevin lives inside the chaos of being a sports fan.** We check the facts and write the articles. Kevin makes his picks, starts conversations, and occasionally reminds us why the mascot agreement needed more pages.
We still have a sports news site to run. He has a world to explore. Follow the reporting here, [meet Bad Kevin](https://scoreboardpulse.com/kevin), and see what happens next. We are watching too.
